Thank you for dropping on by to my little corner of the internet.
Whether you are here to buy or just look around I am grateful for your time and business. I began making pieces as a hobby a few years ago usually for myself. As you can tell by my content I am a huge sports fan and many of my original pieces are hanging in my home and office.
I did not start out to be an artist and had worked in the television/film industry for nearly 25 years as a writer/director/producer before finding that my true passion is for making pretty pictures that people like to hang in their homes or offices. I get a big kick out of seeing something I created making somebody happy somewhere else on this wonderful planet we share. I don't feel like people are purchasing pictures from me as so much as I am giving them a little piece of my self to them and that to me is the greatest feeling in the world.
My work tends to be mostly sports and pop-culture related but I do like to branch out and work on things that interest me. My pictures tend to be colorful, textured that go above and beyond the world we live in. I go into every piece I work on with the idea of a stranger looking at it for the first time and saying "that looks great, where did you get it?"
I do all of my work digitally so there are no "original" pieces. I create my work on both my trusty laptop as well as my even more trusted Wacom Cintique Pro 24 (The Rolls Royce of digital art devices). The software I use ranges from Photoshop to Rebelle 3 to Deep Dream from Google to some more proprietary software I am helping to develop on the side. I almost never use the same combination of hardware/software which has helped me to create a nice tapestry of both color and texture that vary from piece to piece.
I rotate my gallery fairly often and am always working on my next project. If you are looking for a particular person/place or thing that isn't in my shop by all means contact me and let me know what you are looking for. I am more than happy to work on commissioned pieces.
If you do purchase one of my pieces I would love to see what it looks like when you hang it up. Shoot me a photo and I will give you an extra 20% discount off of your next purchase at my store.
My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
I grew up loving the work of Leroy Neiman and Peter Max. I try and put a little of them in every piece I create.
The person who really inspired me is my mother. As a kid I obviously couldn't afford a Neiman print so she would draw or paint a picture of my favorite athlete that I would proudly put on my bedroom walls, Now I do the same thing for my own child whose bedroom wall is the envy of his friends in the neighborhood.
All of my work is created digitally. I use a number of different programs to make my imagination come to life. Most all of my artwork is created using my trusty Wacom Cintiq. Once I have a subject sketched out I let it take me wherever my imagination leads me to, usually with an eye fpr colorful, vibrant, semi-psychedelic, textured pictures that I would be proud to hang up in my own home.
